In keeping with it's commitment to be a full range provider of products and services for the timber harvesting industry, Blount, Inc.'s Forestry & Industrial Equipment Division announces two programs that expand their product services offerings.
The first, an extended warranty program, was recently made available to purchasers of Blount's line of timber harvesting equipment. The extended warranty program extends the warranty available on major power train components by an additional one year and two thousand operating hours. The extended warranty on structural components is an additional two years or six thousand total hours. This purchased warranty is offered on Hydro-Ax feller bunchers, Fabtek harvesters and forwarders, Prentice loaders and the recently introduced Prentice skidder.
The second program announced by Blount is a new physical damage insurance program. The all risk coverage provides protection for events such as fire, collision, theft and vandalism, as well as others. "The benefit of these two programs is that the customer will have one stop shopping at their Blount dealers," said Dennis Eagan, President. "And the cost of the extended warranty and physical damage insurance can be included in the finance agreement." The physical damage insurance program is available through Blount's US dealer network. The extended warranty program is available through Blount's extensive dealer network throughout North America.
