FACTOR IN WET GROUND"
Don Grillo of D&D Forestry in Camden, Arkansas purchased a new Prentice 384 from Don's Hydraulics in Sheridan, Arkansas this Spring. "We bought the whole system," said Grillo, "We combined the Prentice 384 with the TMS system that includes the Prentice CHT grapple. The new loader is smooth and light. And it's strong. It has very good power when you are picking up logs. Even when you are picking up the whole tree with the top on. It's amazing how strong it is for its size."
He went on to praise the TMS system saying: "It is a real stout system on a well built trailer. We looked at other machines but the Prentice system is lighter and faster and we are very satisfied with the way it has been operating."
David Lundsford recalls the day the machine was delivered. "When we finished going over the machine, the operator actually ran toward the machine to get back on and start running it," said Lunsford . "He loved the machine that much."
Phillip Myers of Merryville, Louisiana purchased a Prentice 384 Log Loader from Scott Truck & Tractor Company in DeRidder, Louisiana. "It works very well in delimbing," said Meyers. "We handle a lot of 14" to 15" stuff and it works real good. We traded a competitive machine but the Prentice 384 is bigger and has some good updates. We have been very satisfied with it."
Troy Huey of Scott Equipment says, "the Prentice 384 sells itself." It works especially well in wet weather and on wet ground."
