BLOUNT PRESENTS 2001 DEALER AWARDS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Zebulon, NC: Blount presented its outstanding dealer awards for 2001 at
a Dealer Principal Meeting held February 28, 2002 at the Embassy Suites
in Irving, Texas. The meeting was attended by 35 dealer principals representing
all North American and International distributors, including representatives
from South Africa, Venezuela and Chile. Five dealers received the prestigious
Eagle award for sales excellence.
Pioneer Machinery, LLC.
Headquartered in West Columbia, South Carolina, Pioneer has 25 stores though-out the south. This is the 11th consecutive year that Pioneer has received Blount's Eagle Award. Pioneer also received the #1 Parts Sales Performance award and an Excellence in Technician Certification award.
Warrior Tractor & Equipment
Headquartered in Northport, Alabama, Warrior has 6 stores in Alabama and 6 stores in Arkansas. This is the 10th consecutive year that Warrior has received Blount's Eagle Award. Warrior also received an Outstanding Parts Sales award and an Excellence in Technician Certification.
Scott Truck & Tractor Company
Headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana, Scott has 8 stores in Louisiana. Scott also received an Outstanding Parts Sales award.
Suttle Equipment Company
Headquartered in DeQueen, Arkansas, Suttle has stores in Arkadelphia and Dardenelle. Suttle also received an Outstanding Parts Sales award.
Texas Timberjack Inc.
Headquartered in Lufkin, Texas with stores in Jasper and Cleveland, Texas. An Outstanding Parts Sales award was also presented to Texas Timberjack, Inc.

2001 Hydro-Ax Industrial Product Sales was presented to Dodd Diesel, Inc.,
Phoenix, Arizona.
Triad Machinery, Portland, Oregon
was presented the Top Sales Award for Fabtek 2001 sales.
International dealers receiving awards included Randalls Equipment Company, Victoria, Australia for Outstanding Machine Sales, Parana Equipamentos, S.A., Curitiba, Brazil and Titan Plant Services, Ltd., Lower Hutt, New Zealand for Outstanding International Parts Sales 2001.
